Volunteer at Oxford Manor
Volunteers are an important part of life at Oxford Manor, helping us create a warm and supportive community. We welcome relatives, friends, students, and community members to share their time and talents with our residents. Even family pets are welcome to visit provided they’re vaccinated, house-trained, and leashed.
How to get started
Your first step is to download and complete the Volunteer Application Form. Submit it to the Recreation Manager at Oxford Manor Retirement Residence. We’ll contact you to arrange an interview to discuss your interests and available opportunities.
Requirements
Before beginning your placement, volunteers will need to:
- Attend an orientation session
- Provide references and a Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Complete a 2-Step Mantoux (TB) Test or chest x-ray (or provide proof of a previous 2-Step test)
Training and ongoing support are provided to help you succeed in your role.
